Segment Creation for Amobee

While creating segment for Adobe Marketplace, select Amobee (TURN) as a Channel in Unity UI. It will ask for input of Category name and segment id. Please let the TAMs/PMs create the segment for Amobee as the workflow involves some manual steps (entering the segment id which is based on a pattern and should not be random and then sharing a taxonomy with Amobee support). Each segment created should belong to one of the below categories. Each category is tied to a price which can not be changed. So, it is one category one price and all segments in the category are sold at that price only. If you want to create a segment for a category which is not listed here (or a custom segment for a client), the process is as follows:

1. Reach out to Amobee support with the segment taxonomy. If it is custom segment, get a questionnaire filled by the client and share it with Amobee support team.
2. A contract id will be created by Amobee support for the above request
3. The contract id needs to be configured by zeotap engineering team so that it is available in Unity for segment creation
4. Once configured, the contract id (category) can be used for segment creation

The whole process can take upto 7 working days and hence should be communicated accordingly to the client.

Reporting

Reporting is done by Amobee. It is provided as an offline report at month end.

File Format Changes

The file format changes are now done from our end, but we are awaiting confirmation from Amobee that they have updated their ingestion pipeline to receive the files in the new format.

Apart from the file format, there have been additional updates to the Amobee integration lately.

1. We can no longer use destinations created using the Public categories, so public segments can no longer be created.
2. We can only create private/custom segments for the time being. We currently have a few destinations created for Mastercard/Dentsu. For any other client we have to raise a new category request with Amobee as follows:

and share with . Once the category is created and added to destinations, share a taxonomy file with with segment nme, channel segment ID. The whole process can take upto 7 working days.
