Dynamic Yield is a personalisation platform that builds actionable customer segments in real-time, enabling marketers to increase revenue through personalisation, recommendations, automatic optimisation and one-to-one messaging.

This integration allows you to create segments within Connect and push them to a Dynamic Yield destination as first-party CRM data.

The identifiers used as part of the integration are specific to each client.

Creating a Destination for Dynamic Yield

Dynamic Yield is a private Channel and allows only one destination per segment. Perform the following steps to create a Destination for Dynamic Yield:

1. Log into Unity and go to the DESTINATIONS application.
2. Under the All Channels section, search for Dynamic Yield.
3. Click Dynamic Yield and enter the following details in the window that appears.
   1. Enter a name for the Destination.
   2. Enter the Access Key and the Secret Access Key.
   3. Enter the S3 Bucket and the Folder where you are creating the Destination.
   4. Enter the Client Name for whom you are creating the Destination.
   5. Enter the Region.
   6. Click Save Destination.

Creating a Segment for Dynamic Yield

The identifiers used as part of the integration are specific to each client.

The following steps summarize the process of linking a Segment to a Destination:

1. Log into Unity and go to the TARGETING application.
2. To activate a Segment click Distribute and push it to Dynamic Yield.
3. Each segment can only have one identifier attached to it. Confirm selection for the identifier to proceed with Segment activation.

After you have successfully created a segment and the data is pushed and processed, this is how the data appears.
