The integration with Facebook Business Manager allows us to create audiences for our and license our audiences to our client's Facebook . It is a global integration and is live for all the countries.
Creating a Destination for Facebook
Facebook is a private Channel. Perform the following steps to create a Destination for Facebook:
- Log into Unity and go to the DESTINATIONS application.
- Under the All Channels section, search for Facebook.
- Click Facebook and enter the following details in the window that appears.
- Enter a name for the Destination.
- Enter the 16 digit ID number.
Click Save Destination.
Creating a Segment for Facebook
Facebook compares the data uploaded by us against a segment with their encrypted user data. If they find a match, the IDs are added to the custom audience/segment and the ads are delivered to them.
The following steps summarize the process of linking a Segment to a Destination:
- Log into Unity to create a Segment from the TARGETING application.
- Select the appropriate attributes.
- To activate the Segment, search for the Facebook Destination that you created and link the same. It may take up to one hour before Facebook adds users to an audience.

Facebook has a limit of 500 segments per . We cannot create new segments once this limit is reached. We recommend that you avoid creating duplicate segments and delete any test/unnecessary segments.
While deleting any segment from the Business Manager , ensure to archive the same segment in Unity.
