Creating a Destination for Hotstar

Hotstar is a public Channel and allows only one destination per segment. Perform the following steps to create a Destination for Hotstar:

1. Log into Unity and go to the DESTINATIONS application.
2. Under the All Channels section, search for Hotstar.
3. Click Hotstar and enter the following details in the window that appears.
   1. Enter a name for the Destination.
   2. Enter the Seat ID number on which the client has requested the Segment.
   3. Click Save Destination.

For every segment created for a public Destination, Zeotap recommends that you use the existing Destination named Hotstar (Public).

Creating a Segment for Hotstar

The following steps summarize the process of linking a Segment to a Destination:

1. Log into Unity to create a Segment from the TARGETING application.
2. To activate the Segment, search for the Hotstar Destination that you created and link the same.

Once the segment is created reach out to the Zeotap POC to see that the segment gets activated within the platform and goes live in the Channel.
