Max count of segments reached

Current segment limit for Adform is 5000. If we exceed that limit, we will not be able to create new segments until we delete existing ones.

  4. List of all zeotap segments available on Adform Select and delete all irrelevant segments.

Whitelisting/blacklisting segments to a particular advertiser/agency

Segments can be whitelisted/blacklisted from the Adform UI only. There are two types of inclusion/exclusion in Adform : Agency and Advertiser. For agency level whitelist/blacklist, it can be done directly from UI. For advertiser level whitelist/blacklist, we first have to ask Adform support to enable the advertiser for our account. If a segment is blacklisted/whitelisted at an agency level, all advertisers under the agency will have the same access to the segments as the parent agency

  1. Go to Adform UI. Select zeotap Audiences tab
  2. Select the segment which has to be whitelisted/blacklisted Settings tab Edit
  3. Rights tab Select country where the Agency belongs to
  4. Search for the agency. If whitelisting/blacklisting is at agency level, selecting the agency will include all advertisers within that agency.
  5. If whitelisting/blacklisting is at an advertiser level, the advertiser needs to be enabled for our account by the Adform support team.

Audience push to Adform DMP

The current integration cannot be leveraged to push segment to Adform DMP. (as of 1st Sept, '20). There are 3 ways in which segment push to Adform DMP can be done:

Client provides a postback URL and we upload data directly to their adserver through the URL (not supported)

Client creates the segment within their DMP first, we then manually create a replica at our end with the same segment ID and push data to the ID (manual and time consuming)

Using 3rd party sharing functionality to share segments at 0 price with client (preferred)

    1. this data sharing is free and is not mirrored in any of Adform reports so invoicing solely depends on Zeotap and the client.
    2. when Zeotap decides to share some/all of their audiences, please, reach out to Adform Audience Base Team with a segment list and the segments will be opened to the client
    3. when shared, Zeotap's segments will be found in client's account -> Audience Builder > Audience Marketplace.
    4. The segment prices appear in client's DMP Audience Marketplace, but they can be ingnored as they will not be charged for any of them. Sharing data between two Adform DMP accounts is free of charge. Zeotap and the client needs to have a separate pricing agreement for usage of the segments.
