[m]Platform

Channel Type - Both Private and Public Products Supported - Targeting and Connect Integration Type - 3P

[m]Platform is GroupM’s data/tech division and works independently from local or global GroupM entities. Each GroupM local entity and sub- entity (for example, Xaxis, Mediacom and more) have their own accounts on mPlatform.

We are integrated with [m]Platform for both Targeting and Connect globally. While APAC accepts both Device IDs and cookies, Europe only accepts cookie data.

Creating a Destination for [m]Platform

[m]Platform is a private Channel. Perform the following steps to create a Destination for [m]Platform:

1. Log into Unity and go to the DESTINATIONS application.
2. Under the All Channels section, search for m-Platform.
3. Click m-Platform and enter the following details in the window that appears:
   1. Enter a name for the Destination.
   2. Enter the Client ID number on which the client has requested the Segment.
   3. Choose the appropriate Currency value.
   4. Click Save Destination.

Creating a Segment for [m]Platform

The following steps summarize the process of linking a Segment to a Destination:

1. Log into Unity to create a Segment from the TARGETING application.
2. To activate the Segment, search for the m-Platform Destination that you created and link the same.

Once the segment is created reach out to the Zeotap POC to see that the segment gets activated within the platform and goes live in the Channel.
