Segment Creation

Segment Creation is a manual process through Unity UI. We can send segments both to a private destination or publically within [m]Platform.

Only Client ID(Seat ID) input is required for a private destination creation. For public segments, use the : “m-Platform Public Destination” destination.

Once the segment is created the taxonomy needs to be sent to the local contact who requested the segments. For APAC, the contact person are [email protected] and [email protected]. For the rest of the countries, please ask the Sales team for the contact person.

You can also add [email protected] to CC.

The APAC team has confirmed that it can take 3-4 days for the segments to go live once the taxonomy has been sent to them. This SLA can differ from region to region as their teams operate locally.

Data will be uploaded to the country wise folders pre-created by the [m]Platform under the following buckets: mpi-zeotap-amer
