Segment Pricing

This integration only automates the audience creation and sharing process for Facebook which was manual earlier. Facebook does not require price input for audience creation and licensing, hence it is important that individual contracts are signed with clients for audience sharing.

Revenue can only be tracked when client provides usage report for those segments at the end of the month.

Segment Licensing

Licensing a segment will allow us to share an audience with our client's Facebook ad account. To license the audience, simply add the client's ad account ID (16 digit number) in the License section in Unity. (Targeting License tab Segment View) If the state of the license is Active in Unity, the segment is successfully licensed. Please inform the client that the audiences would be shared from the following ad account:

For ad accounts with whom we are sharing audience for the first time, please follow the below steps:

Facebook API is no longer creating successful licenses for 1st time audience sharing. If we receive segment sharing request for a new Facebook client ad account, we have to manually license the segment from Business Manager UI. Select the segment you want to license Click on Share button Enter the Ad Account ID. A partnership request will be sent to the client and on acceptance all subsequent licenses can be done from Unity itself

Licensing a segment will not share the audience immediately. The client will receive a pending relationship request in the Availability column of the Audiences section against the audience name. Once they click on "Accept Responsibilities" button, the audience sharing will start. This also is for first time audience sharing and client will not receive the relationship request after the first time.

Reporting

We will receive offline report from each client with whom we have shared an audience at the end of each month.
